SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS and MMS) from Broker Agent Council LLC. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or enrollment.

Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Broker Agent Council ("BAC"), you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS and MMS) at the phone number you provide, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice.

These messages may include:

  • Program and certification updates and reminders
  • Training and event announcements
  • Coaching session reminders
  • Account and billing notifications
  • Marketing and promotional messages
  • Customer service communications

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and communication preferences. You may receive up to 8 messages per month.

Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. BAC is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier related to SMS communications.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from BAC at any time using any of the following methods:

STOP

Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us to unsubscribe immediately.

Portal

Update your communication preferences in the member portal under account settings.

Email

Contact us at [email protected] to request removal from SMS communications.

After opting out, you will receive a final one-time confirmation message. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your enrollment, certification, or membership. You will continue to receive essential account communications via email.

Supported Carriers

Our text messaging service is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to network availability and carrier terms.

Privacy

Your phone number and opt-in data will not be sold to or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may share your phone number with our authorized text messaging service provider for the sole purpose of sending you messages on our behalf. Such providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.

Terms and Conditions

By opting in to receive text messages from BAC, you confirm all of the following:

  • (a)You are the account holder for the phone number provided, or you have received express authorization from the account holder to opt in.
  • (b)You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • (c)You agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • (d)You understand that consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or enrollment in any BAC program.

TCPA Compliance

BAC's text messaging practices comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable FCC regulations. We maintain records of all opt-in consent and honor all opt-out requests promptly upon receipt.
